Getting Started

How do I make a booking?

Fill out our secure booking form and select the time and date that you want us to clean your home. It’s as simple as that and will only take about 60 seconds. Once you have completed your booking we will review your cleaning request, contact you if we have any questions and send you a confirmation email.

What if you don’t want to book online?

That’s ok if you don’t want to book online – we have a dedicated Customer Service Team here at Maid In Bastrop. Give us a call at 512-494-4484 or email us at [email protected] leave your number and one of the team will call you back.

How do I create a Maid In Bastrop Account?

When you book service an account is automatically created for you.  Simply set up your account, choose your password, and you’re ready to go.

What happens after I make a booking?

Once you have completed your online booking you will immediately receive an email with your cleaning details. Please note this is not a confirmation email. We will review your cleaning request, contact you if we have any questions and send you a confirmation email. We also send email reminders to you before the clean, to make sure you don’t forget!

Our Services

What services does Maid In Bastrop provide?

We offer three types of cleaning services. Standard cleaning, which covers all the important areas of the house like bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces. Deep cleaning, which is a more thorough clean, adds things like baseboards, ceiling fans and vents, doors and door trim. We recommend a Deep Cleaning if your home hasn’t been cleaned professionally in the last three months. We also offer Make Ready or Move in/out cleans, these are the most thorough types of cleanings but are reserved for homes that are unfurnished or vacant. How do I know what has been cleaned?

All of our cleaners follow a detailed checklist that we guarantee to complete. They work through your home, ticking off the tasks as they complete them. That way you can be confident that all of the tasks have been completed to the highest Maid In Bastrop standard. Check out our What’s Included? page for the full detail list.

What is a Deep Cleaning?

A Deep Cleaning is for first-time customers or customers who haven’t had their home professionally cleaned in the last three months. To see the extra things we do for Deep Cleans, check our What’s Included? page.

Do you offer Make Ready or Move In/Out Cleanings?

We sure do! At Maid In Bastrop we call move in /move out cleans, Make Readys because sometimes you need a really thorough clean when you are moving into (or out of) a new home. Our cleaners work to a checklist for move in/move out cleans which includes all standard and deep cleaning items, PLUS all extras, and sweeping off porches and garages.

What extra services does Maid In Bastrop provide?

For an extra charge you can add a number of services to your cleaning:

  1. Deep Cleaning/First Cleaning
  2. Load of Laundry
  3. Inside the Fridge
  4. Inside the Oven
  5. Inside Windows
  6. Inside the cabinets
  7. Move in/out or Make Ready

Is there anything you can’t do?

We would like to say no, that anything is possible here at Maid In Bastrop.  However we don’t clean anything on the exterior of your home, clean up pet messes, carpet shampooing or move large furniture. See more on things we don’t offer at the bottom of the What’s Included? page.

Do you do carpet cleaning?

We do not offer carpet cleaning services such as carpet shampooing and carpet steaming.  We do vacuum and steam mop all floors for every type of cleaning we offer.

On The Day Of Your Cleaning

Do I need to be home for my booking?

No you don’t need to be home. Most customers leave a key for us somewhere secure. That way we can get in and out for their service when they are not home. Our teams are very trustworthy and will be sure to lock up afterwards. Just add any access instructions when you make your booking under “Is there anything else we should know?”.



What time will the cleaners arrive?

Our cleaners will always try to arrive on time for your cleaning. We currently offer four arrival windows, 8a-11a, 10a-1p, 12p-3p and 8a-4p. If for example, your arrival window is 10-1, we will arrive between 10 am and 1 pm. Please note times are arrival windows, not work times. Please refer to your confirmation email for estimated cleaning duration times.

How many cleaners do you send?

We send teams of 2, for larger properties we may choose to send a team of 3.

Do I need to provide any equipment or supplies?

Nope! Our cleaning teams come completely prepared to make your home shine! They will bring the following:

  • Vacuum
  • Steam Mop
  • Kitchen and bathroom cleaners
  • Window and glass cleaner
  • Furniture spray
  • Oven Cleaner
  • Assorted brushes and scrubbers
  • Gloves
  • Products against lime scale and mold
  • Micro-Fiber cloths and all purpose cloths

Will I get the same cleaning team every time if I book a recurring cleaning?

We do our best to send the same team every time. Unless someone is unwell or enjoying a well deserved day off from cleaning.

Trust & Safety

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

Yes! We know letting someone into your home is a big deal, so we take a lot of care vetting our maids for safety and quality. They have all undergone extensive background and reference checks, as well as a strict interview process. All our maids are experienced professionals – the best in Bastrop!


What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

If something goes wrong we’re here to make it right. Please let us know right away and we’ll be there to take care of it.  That’s our promise to you!

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

We have three levels of security in place. First, our booking page is protected by extended validation ssl. Secondly, our booking form has it’s own layer of 256 bit security.  Third, credit card transactions are processed by Stripe and is layered on their own 256 security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card).  Rest assured we take security very very seriously.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

Yes they do.  We run a detailed nationwide background check on all applicants as the last step in our pre-screening process.

What is your 100% satisfaction guarantee policy?

If you’re not delighted with your cleaning, we will come out and re-clean completely free of charge within a 5 day window, no questions asked. If you are still unhappy after we  have re-cleaned, we will refund your cleaning charges.

Are you bonded and insured?

Yes. We are fully bonded and insured.

How much insurance do you have?

We have $1,000,000 liability insurance.  You have total peace of mind that your home and belongings are protected.  If you have any questions about our policy please email [email protected]

Manage Your Account

How do I log into my account?

You can log in to your account here. You will be able to make changes to your bookings, schedule a new service, or update your information.

If you forgot your password please select “I forgot my password” and you will be able to make password changes.

How do I change my address?

You can log in to your account and update your address in your upcoming booking. Or contact us and we’ll help get it updated.

How do I change my credit card?

Log in to your account and update your card on file.  Your new card will automatically be noted as your default card. Or Contact Us and we’ll help get it updated.

How do I cancel or reschedule my cleaning?

You can log in to your account to cancel or reschedule your booking. Or contact us and we’ll help get it updated.

Please note that there is a $55 cancellation fee if a cancellation is made less than 48 hours before your service is scheduled.


When am I charged for my cleaning?

We place a hold on the card you have on file with us 24 hours prior to your cleaning appointment and charge your card after your cleaning has been completed. (Note: The exception is if you purchased a gift certificate your card will be charged at the time of the purchase)

What form of payments do you accept for your services?

We accept credit card payments only. No more waiting around for your maid to deposit your checks or leaving cash on the counter.

Discounts, Promo Codes, & Gift Certificates

How can I redeem my gift certificate?

You can redeem by scheduling your cleaning on the Booking Page and entering your gift certificate code in to the discount code section

How does the recurring discount work?

The recurring discount is applied to your second cleaning and every recurring cleaning thereafter. Not the first cleaning.

Can I use my gift certificate towards more than one cleaning?

Yes, we are willing to work with our clients to make sure that your Gift Cards are used until the balance is depleted.

How can I tell what balance I have remaining on my gift certificate?

Once you have created an account from the email you received when the gift card was sent to you, you will be able to view and schedule your cleaning and/or balance from within your account.


Are gift certificates refundable or transferable?

Due to the nature of the gift certificates, we are unable to refund any gift certificates.

Do gift certificates have an expiration date?

Yes, gift certificates are good for up to 12 months from the date of purchase. If they are not used within those 12 months you will not me able to schedule your cleaning utilizing the gift code provided.

Do you offer discounts for regular customers?

Yes! If you book regular cleanings with Maid In Bastrop you can get:

  • 10% discount for Monthly cleanings
  • 15% discount for Bi-weekly cleanings
  • 20% discount for Weekly cleanings

How do I redeem a discount code?

On the booking page under the section titled “Discount Code” type you code and click apply.  Your discount will automatically be applied and can be seen under the booking summary to the right of the screen.
